Written by | Episode

This week we observe the Transgender Day of Remembrance. The Transgender Day of Remembrance was created in memory of Rita Hester, a trans woman who was murdered in 1998. Since then, each yeah on November 20th, communities around the world gather to remember those lost to anti trans violence in the past year.

This year was the deadliest on record for Transgender Americans with 25 members of our community lost.
